We created and delivered Music Matters, a ground-breaking 9-week-long live music festival in partnership with Selfridges that saw 44 artists performing in their Oxford Street pop-up live music venue for 300 lucky guests at the time.
The festival was sponsored by Smirnoff and Sennheiser who provided a 360 live sound experience. All profits from selling over 13,000 tickets went to the Music Venue Trust to help save grassroots live music venues from closure. 1.2 million views on Facebook, 382K Instagram impressions and 72 press articles made this collaborative festival a success for all parties involved.
The 360 stage was a performance environment designed was designed for the social age by The Experience Machine (TEM). Each concert was a one-off show in collaboration with the artists and their creative teams. The shows were streamed on the artists’ social media. The multi-faceted stage with reconfigurable modular frames and screens was a visual playground for artists.
Artists performing in this pop-up venue included Mabel, Raye, Shura, Tom Walker, Joy Crookes, UNKLE, Joe Goddard, Eivør, Ryoji Ikeda, and many more.
